Head Coach John Connolly had this to say: 'Hentie is an extremely experienced player and an excellent team man. I am sure that he will make a strong contribution to Bath Rugby.'
'I am really happy to be here and to be a part of a club with such pedigree as Bath Rugby,' said Hentie.
'The opportunity came up and it was something I couldn't turn down. I've been training with the guys for a couple of days now and there is a positive feel about the new season. The competition for the number 9 jersey will be intense but I'm looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead.'
Hentie is the eleventh signing for Bath Rugby, following the arrival of props Duncan Bell and David Flatman, scrum half Martyn Wood, centre Andrew Higgins, hooker Christian Balshen, flankers Jonathan Pettemerides and Michael Lipman, winger Brendon Daniel and number eight Isaac Feaunati.
