Hadden first has to steer his team to victory over Toulouse in the Heineken Cup quarter-final - a huge ask based on the result the last time the two sides met.
Edinburgh traveled to the Stade Ernest Wallon boasting the only unbeaten record in the competition, but left with their tails between their legs after a 33-0 hammering by the European champions.
Unscathed by result, Hadden is displaying the typically characteristic upbeat attitude that has seen his side rise to become the first ever Scottish quarter-final qualifiers.
"We are absolutely delighted to be where we are - at the high table of European club rugby," he said, speaking at the draw for 'home advantage' in the Heineken Cup semi-finals.
"We already know just how difficult it is to go to Toulouse but we certainly won't be packing our golf clubs for our quarter-final trip.
"It is great for a Scottish team to be involved at this stage but we are certainly looking no further at this stage than our "Round 3" against Toulouse.
"We enjoy every season in the Heineken Cup. It is great to measure yourself against the best teams in Europe and the standard is simply getting higher every season.'
The quarter-final takes place on Saturday, April 10 at 16:00, with the semi-final two weeks later at a time and venue to be confirmed.
