Round 2 of the 2004/2005 Heineken Cup campaign will also see Rugby Calvisano host the 100th Heineken Cup game in Italy. Fittingly, they will entertain the reigning champions London Wasps.
Double winners Toulouse will have another landmark in their sights when they host Glasgow Rugby tonight (Friday). They need just 36 points to become the first side to notch 2,000 points in the Heineken Cup.
Having seen the 1,000,000th fan go through the turnstiles in England to watch Pool and quarter-final games at Bath last weekend, the Heineken Cup is now getting ready to celebrate its 5,000,000th customer. The record Round 1 turn-out of 111,624 last weekend means the competition is only 255,326 short of that landmark - a barrier that should be smashed in the Pool stages.
