Luke Gross, Newcastle Falcons' second row forward sent off in the 67th minute of their Heineken Cup Pool 5 match against Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade today, has been banned for four weeks. Gross, a USA international, was dismissed by Irish referee Donal Courtney. Following a disciplinary hearing in front of Match Commissioner Ray Wilton
(Wales) he was banned for illegal use of a knee and will miss the home Round 2 match against Perpignan on Sunday, 31 October.
