Amlin Challenge Cup finalists Stade Francais Paris have confirmed the signing of South Africa outside half Morne Steyn on a three-year contract.
The 28-year-old, who has won 42 caps for the Springboks, will join the Top 14 side from the Bulls at the end of the season.
"It is a new challenge in my life," said Steyn. "When I signed, the weather was very nice outside - it's a sign!
"I cannot wait to arrive and to settle in Paris. I am joining a great team and it would be brilliant to win the title next season, something they haven't achieved since 2007."
Steyn will be joined by Australia international Digby Ioane and Leinster prop Heinke Van der Merwe at Stade next season.
In the immediate future the French club will be attempting to lift their first European title at the fourth attempt when they clash with Leinster in the 2013 Amlin Challenge Cup final at the RDS on Friday, 17 May.
They were beaten in the 2001 and 2005 Heineken Cup finals and pipped by a point in the 2011 Amlin showpiece contest.
The directors of ERC voted unanimously at a Board meeting to postpone all decisions including the release of further instalments of ERC's distributable central revenues to the six shareholder countries until 19 February next when the Board will meet again to reconsider the issue.
