Just two days after clinching their first Heineken Cup final appearance, where they will clash with ASM Clermont Auvergne at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on 18 May, the big spenders have finally got their man.
"After Australian wing Drew Mitchell, South African Bryan Habana will garnish the ranks of the 'Red and Black' for the next two seasons," Toulon revealed in a statement on their website.
A 2007 World Cup winner with the Springboks, his tournament performances earning him the International Rugby Board player of the year title, 29-year-old Habana has long been a target of Toulon.
And now that prolonged chase is over he will join up with their star-studded squad in time for the 2013/14 campaign.
Habana has scored 47 tries in 83 international apperances for the Springboks and intends remaining available for selection despite not having his SARU contract renewed.
