A win would secure Toulouse a passage through to the quarter-finals but that's not going to be easy according to Noves.
"We want to stay in this competition and we know we must come back from Gloucester with the win," he said.
"We know how important this game is for our season. We are playing in two competitions and want to win two, everyone knows that.
"We are all aware how important this game is and we know that if we lose we can be eliminated and if we win we are qualified.
"We are not looking at a home or away quarter-finals, its still a quarter-final and that ours target."
Noves has guided his Toulouse team to four Heineken Cup crowns and into the knock-out stage on 13 occasions and he has admitted he loves the tension this time in the season brings.
"I love these kind of games," he said.
"After 20 years at the club, I have been involved with a lot but I love decisive games like these.
"Gloucester are eliminated but they caused us problems in the first game especially at the scrum but they can also score fantastic tries which we have seen already."
