Bayonne kicked off with a 71-7 romp at home to Rugby Mogliano and will be favourites to end the campaign with the double over the European newcomers when they go to Stadio Maurizio Quaggia.
Wing Marvin O'Connor got two of Bayonne's 11 tries with All Black star Joe Rokocoko also getting in on the try scoring act when he came on as a replacement.
