Worcester Warriors have signed the Australian international Chris Latham for two years with an option of a third.
The 32 year old is the second highest try scorer in the Wallaby history (40 tries, 200 points in 78 games) and the most caped back for Australia. The former Queensland Reds player will join Worcester next season and will aim to compete for European honours with the Warriors.
Mike Ruddock, Worcester Director of rugby said: "We're absolutely delighted that Chris, the world's best full back, has decided to join us at Worcester Warriors. His form in the 2007 Rugby World Cup was incredibly impressive and convinced me that he still has the ability, drive and ambition to continue to play top class rugby for the next three years."
Worcester Warriors are top of Pool 2 and will play away against Montauban, on Friday 11 January 2008.
