HEINEKEN CUP FINAL RETURNS TO CARDIFF
The Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, will host the 13th Heineken Cup final on the weekend of 24 / 25 May, 2008.
Three-time champions Toulouse will face the 2006 winners Munster in a shodown between the two greatest club teams in Europe.
This will be the fifth time that the world's biggest club rugby final will return to the Welsh capital where two of Europe’s best teams will do battle for the title of Champions of Europe.
Cardiff hosted the first two Heineken Cup finals, when French clubs Toulouse and Brive won the coveted trophy, and then when Leicester Tigers triumphed in 2002 and Munster's magic moment in 2006..jpg)
That 2002 Leicester Tigers against Munster final was played in front of a then tournament record crowd of 74,600 and in 2006 the stadium was full to capacity for Munster's victory over Biarritz Olympique.
ERC reserve an additional 15,000 tickets which will be distributed between both finalist teams (Munster & Toulouse) with any remaining tickets for the 74,000 capacity Millennium Stadium allocated to tournament partners, hospitality, promotion and to European rugby stakeholders.
Tickets are priced at £20, £35, £45 and £55 with concession prices for juniors at £22, £24, £32
