L'ERC confirme que la Fédération Française de Rugby a retiré sa demande d'accueil des finales 2014 de la H Cup et de l'Amlin Challenge Cup, en raison de l'incertitude quant à la disponibilité du Stade de France.
An early penalty kick nudged him to just two short of 1,500 and the milestone duly arrived with his second successful kick of the afternoon in the 30th minute. Two more penalties followed, including one just three minutes before full-time which ultimately proved decisive as Tigers made it three wins out of three at the start of the season.
Victory pushed Tigers into second place in the early-season Premiership table and Goode said: "I'm obviously delighted to reach 1,500 points. Dusty Hare is way out there in front, John Liley will take some catching, and Tim Stimpson is the next one ahead of me."
Hare, rugby's world record points scorer, registered 4,507 for Tigers, with Liley reaching 2,518 and Stimpson 1,713. Goode is now on 1,507.
"They are a great bunch of players in the history of the club and to have my name up there with them is a great honour," said Goode.
For the record, Goode's 1,507 points includes 272 penalties, 237 conversions, 29 drop goals and 26 tries. He has made 147 starting appearances for the club, with another 27 from the replacements bench.
