Ospreys and Wales wing Shane Williams said his side will have to lift themselves this week if they are to avoid further disappointment when they meet Leicester Tigers in the final of the EDF Energy Cup at Twickenham.
Williams admitted that the Ospreys had left Vicarage Road "with heads bowed" after their 19-10 Heineken Cup quarter-final defeat at the hands of Saracens.
"It wasn't a performance at all - it was very disappointing how we played. We knew what we had to do, had trained well in preparation, but we made too many mistakes," said Williams.
"We are all gutted because it wasn't a typical Ospreys performance. We felt we could get something out of the Heineken Cup this season.
"We seemed to panic in areas and there were a lot of turn-overs. We just weren't good enough in the contact area.
"We will be going home with our heads bowed, but knowing that you have to perform in the big games. We have to learn how to win matches like this."
