Harlequins have announced that their much anticipated Heineken Cup quarter-final clash with Munster Rugby has sold out with six weeks to go.
Following an increase in capacity of the Stoop for the match 15,000 fans will now pack out the Stoop to watch the reigning English champions take on the two-time Heineken Cup champions, and four- time finalists at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday April 7 (kick-off 2.00pm).
Tickets for the match went on sale exclusively to the Harlequins' season ticket holders on Monday, 4 February and the level of demand has meant no tickets will now go on general sale.
Munster Rugby received an allocation of approximately 25% of capacity and are distributing tickets through their club network and season ticket holders with no public sale expected.
The Sunday afternoon clash at the Stoop draws down the curtain on a unique Anglo Irish weekend of European quarter-final action in the English capital. The action gets underway on Friday, 5 April when London Wasps welcome Heineken Cup champions Leinster to Adams Park for their Amlin Challenge Cup must win quarter, while Twickenham Stadium will take centre stage on Saturday, 6 April for the Heineken Cup quarter-final meeting of Saracens and Ulster.
