Jonny Wilkinson may be involved in a "will he stay or will he go" situation regarding his Toulon future but barnstorming France centre Mathieu Bastareaud is definitely staying.
Bastareaud has helped Toulon into the Heineken Cup quarter-finals for the second successive season and they will have home advantage for their April contest against former double champions Leicester Tigers.
And he has followed that up by giving Bernard Laporte's team a massive lift by putting pen to paper on a new deal that ties him to the Top 14 side until 2016.
Bastareaud scored tries in this season's Pool stages against Montpellier and Cardiff Blues and has made 31 European appearances for Stade Francais Paris and now Toulon.
And it is a case of good news on both club and country fronts for Bastareaud.
He is back in Philippe Saint-Andre's national squad ahead of the 2013 rBS 6 Nations Championship while the 24-year-old powerhouse has extended his stay at Felix Mayol by a further three seasons.
Bastareaud has nine caps for his country and came off the bench for Toulon in their recent Heineken Cup Pool 6 defeat to Montpellier.
