London Wasps have a fourth European title in their sights - and earning home advantage for April's quarter-finals would significantly enhance their prospects.
The 2003 tournament champions and double Heineken Cup winners take on Rugby Mogliano at Adams Park with a five-point cushion as Pool 3 leaders and within touching distance of booking their place in the last eight.
There is still the tough test of going to Rodney Parade to tackle Newport Gwent Dragons in Round 6 but five more points on Saturday would put them firmly in the box seat.
"The Amlin Challenge Cup is a big competition for us," scrum half Charlie Davies, who has featured in their four tournament matches so far, told the club's website.
"It is an opportunity to get silverware at the end of the season and that is ultimately what you play for, to win. Winning it also guarantees you a Heineken Cup spot.
"We have done well so far this year in what was a tough group and the boys are excited to play in this competition. We got to the quarter-finals last year and we would love to improve upon that this time around.
"The worst thing that we could do would be to turn up at the weekend expecting to get the same kind of result we did last time. The reason we did so well when we played out there was we respected them and we played hard, fast rugby.
"They may not play top flight rugby but they have some very good players and we will need to front up if we are to get the result we want.
"We want to get a bonus point and we are going to have to work very hard to get that. There is nothing they would like better than to come to our place, where we haven't lost all season, and beat a Premiership side.
"It is going to be tough but I think the boys are all looking forward to it."
