London Wasps take on Rugby Mogliano at Adams Park on Saturday looking for the win that will virtually clinch them quarter-final qualification.
The five-point cushion they have over both Newport Gwent Dragons and Bayonne mean another win will take them to the brink of a last eight place but with home advantage in April's contests still a huge carrot for the four best of the Pool winners.
Bath Rugby currently head that particular chase with a maximum 20 points followed by Stade Francais Paris (19), Gloucester Rugby (18) and London Wasps on 16.
And Wasps will face the Italian newcomers buoyed by seven of their players being selected for the England senior squads named by Stuart Lancaster.
Joe Launchbury and James Haskell have been named in England's RBS 6 Nations squad with Christian Wade, Billy Vunipola, Joe Simpson, Elliot Daly and Tom Palmer in the Saxons.
For Vunipola and Daly, it's the first time they have been recognised internationally at senior level.
Wasps' director of rugby Dai Young said: "It's fantastic to see seven of our players selected for international duty.
"I think that is a real indication of the massive improvement among our squad this season and I am very pleased our players are getting the recognition they deserve.
"I have always seen that a key part of my job is to help develop players for the English national squad and I wish them all the best of luck in the weeks ahead."
