Worcester Warriors and Perpignan are enjoying a rare old battle in this Pool with qualification for a quarter-final place still very much up for grabs with two games to play.
The Premiership side returned from their trip to face the Catalan giants having been on the end of a 13-6 defeat but returned home with a creditable losing bonus point at the Stade Aime Giral.
Welsh international James Hook kicked Perpignan to a vital win over the previously unbeaten Warriors side but missed a late penalty which would have denied the visitors a bonus point.
This was revenge for a Perpignan side which suffered a heartbreaking 22-21 defeat at Sixways in the first leg of the double-header and keeps their ambitions of qualification alive.
Both sides have it all to play for and are all-square on 15 points at the top of the Pool and are still in the hunt for a Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final place, but only the group winners will qualify.
The Pool heavyweights know that neither of them can afford any slip ups against the part-timers of Bizkaia Gernika of Spain and Femi-CZ VEA Rovigo of Italy in their final two games.
