Jonny Sexton, no stranger to making the headlines for club or country, will make his 100th appearance for defending Heineken Cup champions Leinster when they go head-to-head with ASM Clermont Auvergne at Stade Marcel Michelin on Sunday.
It will be the final match of the European weekend and as match No 36 will complete the first half of Pool stage contests.
The Ireland outside half - who has scored a remarkable 54 points in prestigious Heineken Cup finals alone - is one of the elite band of triple European champions and has amassed 364 points in 32 tournament appearances at an average of 11.375 points an outing.
He is back from international duty and will spearhead the Leinster challenge against the star-studded French club who they beat 19-15 in last season's semi-final thriller in Bordeaux.
Sexton, the Heineken Man of the Match in the 2011 final after contributing 28 points, including two tries, will be partnered by Isaac Boss at half back for a match that will have a massive bearing on knock-out stages qualification from Pool 5.
Meanwhile Gordon D'Arcy will become the most capped Leinster player in Heineken Cup history when he takes his place at outside centre to make his 88th European appearance alongside tournament debutant Andrew Goodman.
D'Arcy has scored 25 tournament tries since making a try-scoring debut against Llanelli Scarlets in 1998.
