The Scarlets are sweating on the fitness of Wales wing wonder George North ahead of their Heineken Cup back-to-back Pool 5 contests against Exeter Chiefs.
Both clubs are looking for their first tournament wins of the season but the Scarlets are in danger of going into at least the Round 3 encounter at Parc y Scarlets without try-machine North.
The player was ruled out of Wales' final two matches of the autumn with a hip injury, Wales head coach Warren Gatland declaring "it will probably be a couple of weeks before he is available."
But better news for the Welsh club is the growing reputation of clubmate Liam Williams, the full back pressed into emergency wing duty by Wales in North's absence .
"Full back is my favourite position but I will play anywhere in the back three," said the 21-year-old whose bravery under the high ball belies his 86kgs and 6'2" frame.
"That is just me game, going out there and doing what I have to do and in a game I have no respect for my body - I just put it on the line for the team.
"If I get hurt so be it. You just need a bit of guts and a bit of heart and I think I have both of those.
"If you go in half-heartedly you will come out second best and you are more likely to get hurt."
