Heineken Cup champions Leinster are sweating on the fitness of Luke Fitzgerald, Eoin O'Malley and Dominic Ryan ahead of their key back-to-back clashes with ASM Clermont Auvergne next month.
But the good news is that Isa Nacewa, Sean O'Brien and Aaron Dundon all came through their respective comeback games unscathed and should be in contention for the potential Pool 5 double-header deciders against the French giants.
The Round 3 contest at Stade Marcel Michelin on Sunday, 9 December, will be the seventh meeting between the clubs with Leinster 5-1 ahead - including their 19-15 semi-final triumph in Bordeaux last season.
Six days later the return tie will be played in front of a massive crowd at the Aviva Stadium.
The Leinster management are also set to be boosted by the return of their Ireland contingent who defeated Argentina at the weekend.
In addition, Heinke van der Merwe, who came off the bench to help the Springboks defeat England in Twickenham on Saturday afternoon, is also set to return to Leinster duties this week.
Meanwhile Fitzgerald, O'Malley and Ryan will be given every opportunity to prove their fitness as they continue their rehab ahead of their comebacks.
The one major negative from Friday night's win away to Glasgow Warriors was the injury picked up by second row Quinn Roux towards the end of the first half.
Following medical assessments at the weekend, it has been confirmed that the young South African dislocated his shoulder and will face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
