Bath have already recorded two bonus points victories and are in pole position to qualify for the knock-out stages of the Amlin Challenge Cup ahead of their back-to-back ties against Italian outfit Calvisano.
The former Heineken Champions ground out an invaluable 27-22 over Agen in France to secure a vital victory to enhance their hopes of a quarter-final place in the tournament.
"This is a cup we're taking seriously and are very happy with the win," said captain Francois Louw, who underlined the West Country side's focus on winning European silverware.
Bath have already scored nine tries in their opening two games and enjoyed a barnstorming 40-17 win in their opening games in Romanian against the Bucharest Wolves.
Agen, who are in second place in the Pool and only four points behind Bath, will be looking to get their campaign back on track and will relish their two games against the Wolves.
