Toulon full back Delon Armitage scored two of Toulon's five tries in their 37-16 victory in the all-French Pool 6 contest against Montpellier - and then warned Sunday's Round 2 opponents Cardiff Blues this was just a start.
And the England international, who made 42 European appearances for London Irish before moving to the South of France, added that there is no talk of going all the way to the Heineken Cup title.
"We don't think about the title, we just want to win the next game," he said.
"We will have to work hard this week because we did well but not everything was perfect. However, the team is starting to play very well together and we are very happy.
"We knew this was going to be a tough game because when we played them in Montpellier earlier this season it was very difficult to come back with a victory so we are very happy with our game and to get the bonus point."
Coach Bernard Laporte is pleased with the first part of the season but wants his players to remain clear-headed.
"We have had a very good start but we have to keep calm, lucid and full of humility," he said.
"We should have scored at least two more tries but it was a nice victory with plenty of enthusiasm. We have to keep getting better because nothing has been won yet."
