Irish prop Cian Healy will be hoping to mark his 100th appearance for Leinster with another win to keep him and his team on course for a fourth Heineken Cup title.
The reigning champions will go into their Pool 5 clash with Exeter Chiefs at the RDS looking to extend their unbeaten run to 16 games. It will be Leinster's 116th Heineken Cup tie and the Chief's debut.
The 25-year-old Healy is one of 16 members of Leinster's Heineken Cup Final winning team against Ulster at Twickenham last season who will be on duty in Round 1 and packs down in the front row with Richardt Strauss and Mike Ross.
Leinster coach Joe Schmidt is seeking to extend his remarkable record since joining the clubs two seasons ago. In that time he has led Leinster to back to back titles - only the second club in European history to do that after Leicester Tigers in 2001 and 2002 - by winning 16 and drawing one game.
The last defeat the Irish side suffered in the Heineken Cup was in France against ASM Clermont Auvergne, 20-13, on 12 December, 2010. They drew with Montpellier away from home in their opening game of last season.
They have also gone 11 games in a row without defeat, equaling their record in Europe. Victory over the Chiefs would extend that mark to 12.
Leinster travel to Parc y Scarlets in Round 2 to face the Scarlets and hope to have British & Irish Lions Rob Kearney and Gordon D'Arcy fit to play. Isaac Boss returns to bench duty this weekend after recovering from injury.
