Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill is hoping last weekend's away victory over Sale Sharks will get his side in the mood for another triumph on the road when they launch their Heineken Cup campaign in Toulouse.
Tigers ground out a 20-6 victory at Salford City Stadium to make it four wins and a draw from six games in the Aviva Premiership and the victory also extended their unbeaten record on the road this season to three matches.
That record will be severely tested at Le Stadium on Sunday in Pool 2 when two teams who have won the Heineken Cup six times between them go head-to-head in European competition for the seventh time.
There have been three wins apiece, with both teams enjoying away wins in the past.
"Those four points at Sale are very important in the context of the season as a whole.
"It was a good win and a good way to go into Europe. Now we have to regroup and focus on Toulouse on Sunday," said Cockerill.
Toulouse warmed-up for their record 126th Heineken Cup outing with a 'miracle' win at Bordeaux-Begles in the Top 14. They eventually won 34-32 thanks to two late tries from Fijian wing Timoci Matanavou.
