Worcester Warriors - the 2008 Amlin Challenge Cup finalists - travel to Spain to open their 2012 / 2013 campaign at Bizkaia Gernika RT on Saturday with head coach Richard Hill insisting he will send out an angry team.
The former England scrum half is calling on his Warriors to channel anger and disappointment into positive results in the Amlin Challenge Cup after a 10-6 defeat to London Wasps.
The Warriors also face Perpignan and Femi-CZ Vea Rovigo in Pool 2 but first up are the Spanish club.
"That anger, I can assure you, will be turned in the right direction," he said.
"The players are disappointed and angry. We have to turn that anger into hard work over the next two or three weeks.
"We will give one or two players an opportunity during the Amlin Challenge Cup to stake a claim for a place.
"The likes of Joe Carlisle at 10, Paul Hodgson at nine and Ravai Fatiaki will also play. We have players coming back from injury that will also get an opportunity, like Neil Best, Jake Abbott and Ed Shervington.
"They will come into the mix and enjoy playing over the next few weeks.
"Craig Gillies will also be pushing for an opportunity. He has played well when he has come on and he will get a chance to stake his claim.
"He is our best line-out operator, there is no doubt about that, so we will have to look at it because clearly you can't win if you can't guarantee you own line-out ball."
