Alexis Palisson will miss the opening two rounds of Toulon's Heineken Cup campaign after picking picking up a back injury.
The French international wing was injured in the defeat by Toulouse and will be sidelined for a month and will force him to miss Toulon's Pool 6 games against Montpellier and Cardiff Blues.
The injury could also threaten his chances of playing for France in their November Tests. Perpignan centre David Marty has
already been ruled out of contention for the Autumn internationals after getting injured in training.
The 37-times capped Marty fractured his wrist and will miss his club's first two games in the Amlin Challenge Cup against Rovigo away and home against Spanish side Bizkaia Gernika RT in Pool 2.
