With the build-up to the Dublin 2013 European club rugby finals intensifying by the day, the four elite clubs of ASM Clermont Auvergne, Toulon, Leinster Rugby and Stade Francais Paris, who are focused on their quest for Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup silverware respectively, won't be the only clubs with Europe on their mind over the weekend of 17 and 18 May.

Masi signs for Wasps

Experienced Italian international centre Andrea Masi has signed for London Wasps.
The 69-times capped Masi has represented Italy at three World Cups and was named the RBS Six Nations Player of the Championship in 2011, becoming the first Italian to ever win the award.
Spells at Viadana, Biarritz and Racing Metro have given Masi excellent experience in the European club game, and he joins London Wasps, who will compete in next season's Amlin Challenge Cup, from Aironi. He will link up with fellow Italian international Fabio Stabiano who arrived at the club earlier this summer also from Aironi.
Director of Rugby Dai Young said: "Andrea is a versatile player with proven quality and he will be bringing with him some vital experience from the highest level of the game. We are always looking to add real international quality to our squad and I see him as giving us great depth in our back-line."
Masi added: "I am really excited and honoured to be joining such a great European club and I am hoping that I can add something to the club both on and off the field."
