Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup winner, Joe Worsley, has begun his new coaching career with Bordeaux-Bègles.
The ex-London Wasps back row, also a World Cup winner with England in 2003, has a new role as defence coach with the French Top 14 club who will compete in Pool 1 of the Amlin Challenge Cup next season against Gloucester Rugby, London Irish and Mont-de-Marsan.
Worsley is part of a management team which is lead by new Director of Rugby and former Wasps teammate, Raphael Ibanez, and which includes Regis Sonnes as forwards coach and Vincent Etcheto as backs coach.
Worsley won the Heineken Cup on two occasions with Wasps in 2004 and 2007 and was part of the club's victorious Amlin Challenge Cup side in 2003.
