Orioli has been named among the replacements for tomorrow night's all-French encounter having been involved in each of his team's eight fixtures on their way to the final.
And while the pain of defeat to Cardiff Blues at the same stage of the 2010 tournament in Marseilles will be driving some of his team-mates on in London, the fact that Orioli is entering unchartered waters will make his own experience even more exhilarating.
"It will be my first final as a professional player," said Orioli, who hopes to help Toulon end a first-class trophy drought that dates back two decades.
"You don't get to play in finals every day. It's a huge event and I'm really looking forward to it.
"I really enjoyed the way we qualified against Stade Français because to claim a place in the final with a semi-final win at the Stade Felix Mayol was a great feeling.
"It had been a long time since the last big game in Toulon and I had a big stomach ache before the match. Toulon is my club and my second family and I was massively excited for that semi-final.
"There was so much emotion for me. The fact that we won the game in the last minute made it even more of an amazing feeling.
"With five minutes to go, we weren't sure if we were going to be going to London or not. It took a drop goal from 'Sir' Jonny (Wilkinson) to get us out of a trap. To win such a big game in the last few seconds was unbelievable.
"It's not easy to judge whether I'm improving as a player but I am very happy to have the confidence of the coaches and I'm learning as much as I can. A game like the Amlin semi-final is like 10 Top 14 games or 100 junior games in terms of experience."
