Visiting teams have always spoken highly of the incredible atmosphere created at Toulon's home venue of the Stade Felix Mayol and Schofield admits the club's huge drive for silverware could see similar scenes in South West London.
"I'd expect a lot of our fans to travel. I imagine it will almost be like playing at the Mayol," said Schofield.
"These guys are fanatical and I'm sure they'll be buying their plane tickets to get over to England.
"Toulon got to the final against Cardiff Blues a couple of years ago and fell short so hopefully we can give the public what they want.
"It means everything to the public. You could see that at the Stade Francais game in the semi-final. They're desperate to win this cup so we've got to try and bring it back for them."
Giving the Toulon faithful what they want is clearly a huge priority for Schofield but it isn't the only reason why he's so keen to taste European success on May 19.
The former Sale second row is heading back to England next season after agreeing a deal to join Worcester Warriors so signing off with the Amlin Challenge Cup trophy would be a great way to end his French affair.
"It's pastures new for me next season so to finish on this sort of note is going to be amazing. I want to finish well and go out with a bang," added Schofield.
"It's familiar surroundings for me as well having played at the Stoop for many years in the Premiership. I'm going to enjoy going back to London and it obviously means my family are going to be able to watch the game.
"Winning the semi-final was a cracking result for us. We achieved a goal that we'd set at the start of the season. We obviously wanted to get out of the group, then we had a great win against Quins in the quarters but we knew Stade was going to be another tough one.
"We're ecstatic - we're in the final of the Amlin Challenge Cup, we're going to London and we're playing for silverware."
