Ulster Rugby's squad will head to Portugal for a four day training camp next week, ahead of the biggest game in the club's history, the Heineken Cup Final at Twickenham on Saturday, 19 May, while Leinster will prepare for a PRO 12 semi-final.
"We've got the most important game of the year right at the end of a long, hard ten month season so we're taking the opportunity to get away for four intensive days of training where we can focus on preparing for the very tough proposition of facing Leinster in the Heineken Cup Final" said Ulster Head Coach Brian McLaughlin.
"The camp will give us the opportunity to prepare in an environment free from distractions but it also gives the players the chance to spend of time together away from the training field." he added
"It's a way to pull the guys even closer ahead of a difficult match against a team aiming for their third European title in four years."
The Ulster squad departs on Monday returning in time for the annual Heineken Ulster Rugby Awards Dinner on Thursday 10th May.
Leinster will find out who they meet in the Rabodirect PRO 12 semi-final after this weekend's action, which could potentially be Ulster.
