It's down to the wire now for the five contenders who have been shortlisted for the ultimate individual accolade in northern hemisphere rugby, ERC European Player of the Year 2013.

Ulster too could make history on their first ever visit to the Aviva. A record crowd for an Ulster game of 49,000 witnessed their Heineken Cup final triumph at the old Lansdowne Road in 1999, but that mark could be surpassed on Saturday week if sales of tickets continue on the current upward curve.
When close to 38,000 spectators streamed into Murrayfield for the momentous last eight victory over Toulouse, Edinburgh set a new attendance record for a club game in Scotland, and a new mark for a Heineken Cup game quarter-final game in the UK surpassing the 36,728 for Cardiff Blues v Toulouse at the Millennium Stadium in 2009.
In other match news it was confirmed that Ulster's Ireland internationals will have the benefit of familiar surrounds when they tog out for the Heineken Cup semi-final as they secured the home dressing room for the clash aT the Aviva Stadium following a toss of a coin at the stadium.
