Picamoles relishing clash with Denton

The four time kings of Europe face the resurgent Scottish outfit on April 7, with a place in the Heineken Cup last four up for grabs.

Picamoles will line up against Stade Francais in the Top 14 on Saturday but he already has one eye on the Scotland No.8 he clashed with during the Six Nations.

"Edinburgh have a lot of young and talented players and play offensive style of rugby with very good consistency," said Picamoles.

"Denton is a fine young player for them and next week will be as difficult as the France game at Murrayfield. It will be tough, but it is also going to be hugely exciting."

Toulouse have endured a tricky spell in the Top 14 during the Six Nations but they have been boosted by the return of their international contingent, including Picamoles and Jean-Baptiste Poux.

And three-time Heineken Cup winner Poux expects a fierce challenge in the Scottish capital.

"The game at Murrayfield is a crucial one for us," added Poux.

"Edinburgh are a very dangerous team and they have the ability to keep the ball and play through a lot of phases. They play attacking rugby and are capable of beating anyone.

"We saw that during the French game against Scotland in the Six Nations. We could have lost that game and you can see Scottish rugby is improving a lot."

Edinburgh ran in 17 tries as they topped Pool Two with just one defeat and Poux admits Toulouse must be wary of the Scots' attacking prowess.

"I watched several of Edinburgh's games during the Pool stages. Against Racing Metro they showed a lot of power and, when the Racing players were exhausted, they scored at the last minutes to win the game - they are a dangerous team."
