Munster are hopeful of receiving a triple boost ahead of the crunch all-Irish Heineken Cup showdown with Ulster.
The two-time kings of Europe face the 1999 Champions at Thomond Park on April 8, and there were doubts over Ireland internationals Paul O'Connell, Conor Murray and Donnacha Ryan.
All three will miss this weekend's PRO12 clash with Leinster but Munster head coach Tony McGahan is quietly confident the trio will return to boost the men in red.
"Paul and Conor have probably been the most notable injuries through the Six Nations campaign," said McGahan.
"Donnacha has had a bit of a shoulder issue for the last two weeks of the Six Nations and there's no chance of risking him at this stage with the Ulster quarter-final ahead.
"But we're hopeful the three of them will be available [for the quarter-final]."
O'Connell has been struggling with the knee ligament injury he sustained in the Six Nations against France on March 4. But McGahan has been bouyed by the inspirational skipper's desire to return to action.
"With Paul's determination and healing powers it would take a very significant injury for him to be kept out of a quarter-final at home," added McGahan.
"You saw the way he picked up the injury in the 60th minute [against France] and played through for the last 20 minutes. I'm sure he'll do everything in his power to make sure he's fit."
