Away from the glitz of the final RBS Six Nations weekend, two of Europe's developing nations - Spain and Romania - will do battle on Saturday in a crucial European Nations Cup match with the help of players from several Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup clubs.
The clash in Madrid on Saturday sees Romania, featuring 15 players from Amlin Challenge Cup invite side Bucharest Wolves looking to secure maximum points as they try to catch Georgia at the top of the table. Other notable players who will swap their European Club jerseys for the national shirt of Romania include Marius Tincu (Perpignan) and Paulica Ion (London Irish).
The Spainish are currently locked on 20 points with Russia and Portugal and will be looking to move into third place with the help of experienced European club players such as Pierre-Manuel Garcia (Castres Olympique) Fabien Rofes and Frank Labbe who are both currently with Bordeaux Begles and Jonathan Phipps who got his first taste of Amlin Challenge Cup rugby this season with CR La Vila.
