Donnacha Ryan has signed a new IRFU contract to remain with Heineken Cup quarter-finalists, Munster, until the end of the 2013/14 season.
A Heineken Cup winner with Munster in 2008, Ryan. who has been in impresive form for Ireland in the current RBS 6 Nations, made his debut for Munster against the Ospreys in the 2004/05 season and has gone on to make 99 appearances for his home province.
He won his first Ireland A cap in 2008 and made his international debut against Argentina at Croke Park in November 2008 and has gone on to win 17 caps in total since then. He was selected for the 2011 Rugby World Cup squad with his most recent cap being won when he made his first RBS 6 Nations Championship start against Scotland last weekend.
Munster play their Heineken Cup quarter-final against Irish rivals Ulster at Thomond Park on Sunday, 8 April.
