London Wasps Joe Launchbury is desperate to get as much game time as possible having missed four months through injury.
The young Wasps forward has recovered from the injury which saw him miss a large part of the season having impressed hugely in the earlier games for the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finalists.
Launchbury is now on track to feature in Wasps clash in the last eight against Biarritz on Saturday, 7 April at Adams Park
Though missing four months, he feels he is very well placed to make a positive impact in all of the upcoming games.
"I feel very good right now personally and in many ways the injury had some positives for me for the rest of my body. It is my first year of real professional rugby playing week in week out so I used the time to strengthen up some other areas of my body but regardless of that I am itching to get back playing. I hate not playing and I have hated almost every minute of having to watch on the sidelines whether it was playing or training. Now that I am back I want to play as much as I can for the rest of the games"
With the team lying in 11th place in the English Premiership, he adds that the squad are under no illusions about what needs to be done.
"People know exactly what the job in hand is. In the Premiership we are looking at seven huge games - each one a bit like a Cup final. The dressing room is still positive and we have good morale and belief in each other and that's what we need to keep with if we're going to get the wins we need."
