Palmer returns to Wasps

The lock ended his first spell at Adams Park back in 2009 to move to Stade Francais, but has now agreed terms to return to England.
Palmer started out at Leeds before being snapped up by Wasps in 2006, going on to help them win both the Heineken Cup and the Aviva Premiership.
"I'm delighted to be returning to London Wasps, " he said. "I have many happy memories of three successful seasons at Adams Park and I am very excited by the prospect of my return."
Palmer will not be the only familiar face back at Wasps - back-rower James Haskell has been playing in Japan and will have a season of Super 15 rugby before rejoining his former club.
"This is a fantastic signing for us and I'm delighted that Tom will be here next season," Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said. "Bringing the kind of quality in that Tom and James will deliver demonstrates our desire to have a highly-competitive squad next season that will see us I hope push forward very positively.
"Tom is one of the best second-rows in world rugby and it's a real advantage that he comes to the club with a thorough knowledge of what Wasps is all about."
Wasps play Heineken Cup qualifiers, Biarritz, in the quarter-finals of the Amlin Challenge Cup at Adams Park on Saturday, 7 April, while Palmer could be in action for Stade Francais who take on Exeter Chiefs at the same stage of the tournament two days ealier at Stade Charlety.
