With the build-up to the Dublin 2013 European club rugby finals intensifying by the day, the four elite clubs of ASM Clermont Auvergne, Toulon, Leinster Rugby and Stade Francais Paris, who are focused on their quest for Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup silverware respectively, won't be the only clubs with Europe on their mind over the weekend of 17 and 18 May.

Toulon sign former England forward Nick Kennedy

Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finalists RC Toulon has signed former England second-row Nick Kennedy from London Irish in a three year deal from next season.
The 29-year-old, who has made more than 200 appearances for London Irish since his debut in 2002, has made 28 Heineken Cup caps including a semi-final start against Toulouse.
London Irish Head Coach, Toby Booth is sorry to see him leave Reading: "We would like to sincerely thank Nick for his contribution to London Irish over the last ten years. He has been a great servant of the Club and an important part of its success. We are sad to see him leave but can see that he has an opportunity to progress his career with Toulon."
Speaking at the announcement of the move Nick Kennedy said: "London Irish has been a fantastic home for me for the last ten years and it's with some sadness that I'll leave Sunbury at the end of this season. I've only ever played for one professional club in England, and so when the time came to look at my options to be honest I couldn't see myself playing at another club in the Premiership.
Toulon will face reigning champions Harlequins in the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finals on Friday, ^ April
