Last season's beaten Amlin Challenge Cup finalists Stade Francais have warned they did not put together an impressive unbeaten pool campaign in this season's competition to go out at the quarter-final stage.
Stade Francais lost 19-18 to Harlequins at Caridff City Stadium in the 2011 final and have cruised into the last eight once again after winning all six of their pool encounters.
And team manager Alain Elias knows it's going to be a tough ask reaching the semi-finals but he believes they have put a lot of hard work in so far and they don't want that going to waste.
"Like last year we've have a great pool campaign," said Elias.
"We won all of our games and recorded 29 out of 30 points and we have not gone through the pool games so well just to slow down at the quarter-final stage.
"The coaches will have a good look at Exeter because we don't know them that well.
"They had a great match against Perpignan and Perpignan really wanted to qualify.
"This result shows their strength and we know its not going to be easy."
