Following the results in Pool 6 of the Heineken Cup, ERC can confirm that Toulouse have qualified for the quarter-finals of this season's tournament.
Despite losing 34-24 to Gloucester Rugby in a dramatic, rollercoaster of a Round 6 contest at Kingsholm, Toulouse still managed to top Pool 6 on 18 points as Harlequins could only manage a losing bonus point in a 9-8 defeat by Connacht at the Sportsground which left the English club in second place on 17 points.
The four-time Heineken Cup champions scored three tries through skipper Thierry Dusautoir, who was playing in his 50th tournament match, and wing Timoci Matanavou who crossed for two, however, Gloucester put in a barnstorming finish in front of their fans to earn a fully deserved bonus-victory.
