Munro warning for Glasgow

The Warriors assistant coach is under no illusions of the task facing his side in a 'must-win' clash against the current the current Heineken Cup champions and PRO 12 leaders.

Glasgow and Leinster have one win each so far this season when they have met in the league and European rugby's premier tournament, but this will be the first time the sides will do place on Scottish soil.

Munro admits the Irish province will be firm favourites to win this particular contest, let alone the Heineken Cup again this season.

"They are an extremely good team," said Munro. "They are leading both the league and cup competitions comfortably.

"When we played them the last time they gave us a lesson in rugby and some of our guys just couldn't compete at that level."

The Warriors lost last weekend's match 16-14 to Scarlets in Wales, the first loss the team has suffered in the RaboDirect Pro 12 since September 23 and only the second overall since that date - the other being to Leinster in the cup.

Munro believes the support of the Glasgow public, who came out in force for the Scottish derbies over the festive period, will be a major factor when the Warriors do battle with Leinster.

"We enjoyed huge crowds at Murrayfield and then back at Firhill for the matches against Edinburgh and we have enjoyed a good run," said Munro.

"The crowd will now have the opportunity to watch the Heineken Cup champions play in Glasgow, and see how the Warriors can compete against them."

The Warriors will be without prop Moray Low, who suffered a knee injury against the Scarlets last week, and will miss Scotland's Six Nations campaign.

"We are all very disappointed for him because he was playing very, very well," said Munro.

"He has made a massive contribution and with Mike Cusack still struggling with injury we will have to reshuffle the forwards."
