Brive will be looking to cement their place as favourites to qualify for the knockout stage of the Amlin Challenge Cup when they host fellow French outfit, Agen, at the Stadium Municipal Domenech.
The French side, who won the European Cup in 1997, are in control of Pool 5 and have emerged with a 100 percent record - played four, won four - so far in this season's competition.
But the Top 14 outfit are only three points ahead of Premiership challengers, Sale Sharks, who lifted this very trophy back in 2002 and 2005, who are in second in this Pool.
Agen have nothing to play for but pride as they enter the two weekends of European rugby for them this season but the Sharks will be hoping they can do them a favour dent Brive's impressive bid for the knockout stages.

(Saturday January 14 KO 16:00)
Sale Sharks will be looking to keep their bid for a Amlin Challenge quarter-finals place on track when they travel to face RC La Vila in Spain on Saturday afternoon.
The English Premiership outfit, who won this tournament in 2002 and 2005, are facing a battle to qualify with French side, Brive, in pole position to qualify for the knockout stages.
The Sharks are three points behind the Top 14 side and know they need to return home with a bonus point victory from the Estadio de Rugby at the Alicante on the weekend.
The Spanish side are in the first season in the tournament and are still looking for their win in the Amlin Challenge Cup.
