Bayonne know they need a victory in the all-French affair against Bordeaux Begles at the Stade Andre Moga if they are to keep their hopes of a quarter-finals place in the Amlin Challenge Cup alive.
The French side are second in Pool 3 and are one point behind leaders London Wasps and need a win to keep the pressure on the Premiership outfit as both sides bid to make the last eight of the tournament.
Bordeaux Begles, back in European competition for the first time in a decade, may be third in the Pool but they will be determined to keep their own slim hopes of qualification simmering with a home win.
Both teams know the English side are in the driving seat in the Pool but they will want to make sure they are still in the mix for a place in the last eight when they play their final games next weekend.
Femi-CZ VEA Rovigo v London Wasps
(Saturday January 14 KO 15:00)
Pool 3 leaders London Wasps travel to northern Italy looking to take a step closer to a sought after Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final spot.
Victory over Bayonne at Adams Park in the last round put Dai Young's side in the driving seat and they will be looking for a repeat performance when they face Rovigo.
When the two sides last met in Round 2 Wasps collected a bonus point 38-7 victory but the task will be much more difficult at the Stadio Mario Battaglini.
Rovigo find themselves bottom of the Pool after four rounds and are still without a victory to their name.
In fact their last win in the tournament came back in 2008 against Dax.
