London Wasps wing Christian Wade has been ruled out for three months with a groin injury.
The 20-year-old picked up the injury in his side's recent English Premiership game against Worcester and will undergo surgery on Tuesday.
The injury will mean a spell of three months on the sideline for Wade, ruling him out Wasps' remaining Amlin Challenge Cup pool games and any possibly knock-out fixtures.
Wade has made three appearances in Europe for Wasps this season and scored a hat-trick in his first outing away to Bordeaux Begles.
Dai Young's side lead Pool 3 of the competition after four rounds of action and travel to Rovigo this weekend before welcoming Bordeaux to Adams Park in their final pool outing.
