Leicester Tigers have been hit by a number of injuries to key players ahead of the club's crucial Round 5 Heineken Cup clash with Ulster Rugby at Ravenhill.
England internationals, Manu Tuilagi and Louis Deacon, have already been ruled out of the remainder of the pool stage with hamstring injuries and now playmaker, Toby Flood, will miss the Pool 4 contest on Friday, 13 January due to a knee injury which he suffered in training.
Reports suggest that Flood will be sidelined for four to six weeks and will therefore also be unavailable for Leicester's final pool game against Aironi Rugby at Welford Road.
The Tigers are attempting to close the two-point gap Ulster have opened up at the top of a highly competitive pool which also sees Clermont in with a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
