Newport Gwent Dragons head coach Darren Edwards insists his side will not throw in the towel despite falling to consecutive Amlin Challenge Cup defeats.
The Welsh region were undefeated ahead of their back-to-back clashes with Exeter Chiefs but now find themselves third in Pool Four and facing an uphill battle to qualify.
They next face a daunting trip to face Perpignan at Stade Aime Giral in January before finishing up against I Cavalieri Prato.
Edwards was particularly disappointed with side's second-half performance after the Dragons let a 16-6 lead of the Chief at the interval slip.
But he has urged his team to keep on fighting, starting with the clash with Perpignan.
"It was certainly an opportunity missed," said Edwards. "I was really happy with what I saw in the first-half and it was just a case of sticking to the plan but we dropped off the pace.
"The way the momentum shifted in the second-half cost us. We spent most of the second-half in the final third of the pitch and against a team with a very strong set-piece it's difficult to get away.
"It was difficult to talk to the players after that performance because we have good players and looked like a good team in the first-half - I just don't know what went wrong.
"But you fight until it is all over and that's the attitude we're working towards here.
"We face Perpignan next and I'm looking forward to it. The big games are what you live for.
"It's a great atmosphere out there, I enjoyed going to Toulouse last year, and we're really looking forward to it."
