Leinster head coach Joe Schmidt was delighted with his side's display as they brushed Bath aside 52-27 in Dublin.
More than 46,000 supporters flocked to the Aviva Stadium and were treated to a thrilling running rugby show from the Heineken Cup Champions who took command in Pool 3 with the victory.
"We are obviously delighted to get the five points," said Schmidt.
"We were also delighted with the way some of the tries were scored and some of the running lines.
"We've come a long way from drawing at Montpellier but that was probably only our second or third game together.
"Fortunately it was exhibited in fantastic conditions in front of a fantastic crowd tonight.
"I think that's certainly something that sparks a real enthusiasm among the players."
The victory puts Leinster six points clear of second-place Glasgow Warriors at the helm of Pool 3 with two rounds of Pool action remaining.
In rounds 5 and 6 Leinster travel to Firhill to face the Warriors before welcoming Montpellier to the RDS in Round 6.
