Toulon fly-half Jonny Wilkinson has extended his contract with the Amlin Challenge Cup side for another year.
Wilkinson, who earlier this week announced his retirement from International rugby, has taken up the additional year option on his original deal which he signed back in 2009.
The 32-year-old made the switch to the south of France from Newcastle Falcons and is in his third season with Toulon.
Wilkinson has made 43 European appearances in his career and has made one appearance from the bench in this season's Amlin Challenge Cup.
A club statement said: "After having taken the decision to stop his international career, Jonny Wilkinson has taken another important decision."
