ASM Clermont Auvergne's Georgian international prop Davit Zirakashvili will miss the remaining three rounds of his side's Pool 4 matches after fracturing his arm in the 30-12 win over Leicester Tigers last weekend.
The giant tight head prop left the field clutching his right arm after damaging it at a ruck 37 minutes into the game at Stade Marcel Michelin. The 28-year-old underwent X-Rays after the game and will have an operation this wee to repiar his fractured radius.
He is expected to be out of action for two months, which will see him sidelined for this weekend's Round 4 return clash with The Tigers at Welford Road. He will also have to sit out the New Year matches against Aironi Rugby and Ulster Rugby.
Clermont currently top their Pool after making it 35 successive home wins last weekend and are one point ahead of Ulster and two ahead of Tigers. But all that could change this weekend if they fail to back up their home win over the two-time English champions.
